Progress on Teacher's Gifts

For the kids teachers I am making little open bags/baskets using this tutorial. I decided to do a test run because I wasn't sure about dimensions and how it would all work. Overall I'm happy with it, although I will change a few things. My mom asked me to make a little trash basket for her to sit next to the couch where she likes to do cross-stitch. So, this will be for her - she loves bluebonnets.

I'm so loving the blue bonnets! Sew very pretty and what a neat way to try out a pattern. Lucky mom! I'm hoping to make some of the open baskets for Christmas gifts too! I'll be excited to see the ones you make and hope you share them with us when you finish them!

Great Friday Finish!

Blessings!
